Auld Lang Syne Free Download

I was issued with a challenge to record a rock version of Auld Lang Syne in 1 morning!

The challenge was accepted and within 3 hours a brand new rock version of Auld Lang Syne was born. It's only a short version due to the fact that nobody knows anything other than the first verse and chorus, so this a perfect track to play at your New Years Party.

Shimmer Ident - Simple and classic sounding ident with a few melodic notes in a 'shiny' kind of sound.

Strut The Beat - Funky soul music. Mainly in the funky vibe this track has an infectious groove with horns and funk bass.

12 Days Of Christmas - Traditional rendition of the Xmas classic. Includes a gramophone version for that instant sound of Christmas past.

New Music Player

We've now updated the music player on the IB Audio site.

Our old Flash player was not multi-platform as Flash is a dying language on the web since Apple iOS does not support it (as well as many other mobile devices).

We wanted a much simpler and cleaner look for this player and for it to be 'on-page' rather than a pop-out window. The new player is a simple play/pause button that makes the task of listening to music a lot quicker and easier.

You can download the mp3 preview file by clicking the song title and then clicking the grey 'Preview' button. This gives you a chance to try the track out before you purchase (please note it will still contain the audio watermark!).

Credit bundle prices updated

This week we have updated all our credit bundle prices.

It's been over 5 years since we changed our credit prices so it's been long overdue. The good news is that they're now more affordable!

Most songs on the IB Audio site are 30 credits in value so we've adjusted the bundles so they are multiples of 30 (makes sense!). The best news is that we have increased the discount applied to each bundle so the more you buy the cheaper it gets.

Our savings range from 30% off to 70% off!

The savings start after 30 credits so you're buying single songs and below the price remains the same as before.

Great for horror, crime and action...but mainly ZOMBIES!

This track has a grimy feel of slithering creepiness...urgh. Inspired by the brilliant Walking Dead series.

Semi orchestral track great for documentaries needing a dramatic music bed.

New track added: Overloaded

Fuzz bass and distorted guitars give this rock track a punch.

I wanted to get a kind of Iggy Pop kind of vibe going on this track with the way the drums have that tribal tom style rhythm. The fuzz bass really drives the track as the backbone with the distorted guitars adding little punctuations.

The chorus section has a more modern feel with a synth lead melody.

Life In Motion

New royalty free music track - Life In Motion

Beautiful inspiring anthemic rock track that delivers an inspirational feeling. An emotional journey through a guitar laden soundscape.

This track took a while to compose due it's complex arrangement, but it came together in the end to create a really nice music bed that is a step forward from the usual uplifting rock music on stock music sites.

There's a modern post-rock feel to this track that doesn't rely solely on the 'Cold Play' style that is so prevalent in most corporate videos.

The song came together fairly quickly once the main riff had been laid down and I really liked the drum sound that came out of the session as it has a nice 'crack' to the snare drum.

Just uploaded a new track called Remain Calm 

Ambient chilled out track that will work brilliantly as a subtle music bed. Has an atmospheric spacious feel that would lend itself to documentaries as well.

The song is a nice fusion of spacious semi orchestral pad sounds with a live brushed drum set as the foundation. Then layered on top is the heavily effected guitar which brings a really nice melodic focal point with the effect filling out the soundscape.

Over the last few weeks we've been steadily adding in ZIP files containing the main files, edits and any underscores and stingers that come with the tracks onto the site.

Format

The Mp3 files are all supplied in 128 kbps 44.1 khz 16Bit format. This is great for web videos, website background music and for music on hold.

This track features a heavily delayed guitar to start with then builds with a strong beat that is verging on a dance/club beat. The song builds in the 'chorus' sections with pizzicato strings to give the song a really nice melodic feel.
